Ephesians 5:18-19 18 … be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart…
Martin Luther said, “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.” At North Shore, we recognize this as well. That’s why we want to worship God through music in ways that will exalt him as we increasingly worship the Father “in Spirit and in truth” [John 4:24]. At North Shore, we want our music to powerfully and accurately express the great truths of the bible. Our music is selected on the basis of how closely it adheres to God-exalting theology in addition to its musical strengths. Our Worship Team takes seriously their responsibility to lead people into the presence of God on Sunday mornings. They work diligently so that God might be “enthroned on the praises” of his people. [Psalm 22:3]
